Current costs of buying an investment apartment in Poland

It is no secret that the most desirable investment apartments are studio apartments. The demand for this type of flats is still high, so the prices of this type of flats are gaining momentum from year to year.

What affects the price of studio apartments the most?

Of course, the location and popularity of the district of a given city. An additional advantage of such apartments is the fact that they are easily marketable, so they are ideal to allocate your savings, and when you need money for something else, you will quickly sell such a flat.

The other factors influencing the price of such apartments are:

  • standard of finishing the apartment
  • studio area
  • type of construction – It is obvious that in older buildings, apartments will be cheaper than in newer ones.

How much will I have to pay for a studio apartment in Warsaw?

Taking into account the larger cities in Poland, Warsaw is on the podium in terms of studio apartment prices. The situation is similar in most countries, the capital usually reigns when it comes to prices. As for the secondary market and the prices of studios, we will now have to pay approx. PLN 450,000 for a studio apartment in Warsaw. This gives a price of PLN 15739 for square meter. As for new apartments, the price is about 551 000 PLN.

How much will I have to pay for a studio apartment in Gdansk?

When it comes to one-room apartments in Gdańsk, taking into account the secondary market, we will have to pay about PLN 430,000 for such a flat. Of course, we are talking about average prices. When it comes to new flats, the price is approximately  460,000 PLN.

 

How much will I have to pay for a studio apartment in Lodz?

Taking into account the cities we compare, Lodz has the cheapest studio apartments. A one-room apartment from the secondary market costs about PLN 218,000 here. On the other hand, if we are talking about new buildings, which are still very much under construction, the price fluctuates around PLN 291,000. Undoubtedly, the city is attractive in terms of investment and is constantly developing.
